In Stock or Custom – Two Ways to Get Your Iron Door
Most front entries on Long Island are standard sizes, and we keep doors already built for them. If your opening or your design is one of a kind, we build the door to fit.
Not sure whether your opening is a standard size? Send a photo of your entry, or book a free in-home measurement, and we'll tell you.
Over 1,000 doors are already built. If one of them fits your opening, our crew schedules your installation.
Already-Built Door
Any size, shape and design. We measure your opening and prepare a drawing for your approval, then build the door to your exact dimensions.

An iron door ordered online can look cheaper. Here is what each price includes.

Salt air is hard on any exterior metal, so every door starts with zinc galvanizing before the paint goes on. In a deep freeze, any metal door can show condensation on the inside face. Foam in both the door and the frame, insulated glass and full weatherstripping keep it to a minimum, and we'll walk you through the rest at your measurement.

Questions
How soon can my iron door be installed?
An already-built door is typically installed within 30 days. A custom door takes about 6 months after you approve the drawing. The installation itself takes one day.
How much does an iron door cost?
Single doors start at $4K, double doors at $6K, and double doors with a transom at $8K. All prices include installation. Your exact price is confirmed after a free measurement.
Is installation included?
Yes. Every price includes installation by our own crew. Removal of your old door, reframing, drywall and paint are quoted separately, based on what your opening needs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, 0% APR for 12 months, subject to credit approval. Financing can't be combined with the door discount.
Will it rust on the South Shore or near the water?
Salt air is hard on any exterior metal. Every door is zinc-galvanized, primed, painted and clear-coated, and the finish can be touched up in place. The finish carries a 2-year warranty.
Does an iron door sweat or frost in winter?
In a sustained deep freeze, any metal door can show condensation on the inside face. Foam in the door and the frame, insulated Low-E glass and full weatherstripping keep it to a minimum.
My opening isn't square. Is that a problem?
No. We measure the opening you actually have. If we find rot, a failing header or a sill that needs rebuilding, you get that price at the measurement, not on installation day.
Do you install in winter?
Yes. We install year-round.
Do I have to visit the showroom?
No. Send a photo of your entry, and we'll send a rendering of your new door within 48 hours. We also offer a free in-home measurement.
